Citizenship Washington Program is a 4-H trip usually organized by state or county delegations. Contact your local 4-H educator at your county Extension office for details about your state's CWF delegation and how to apply.  If you'd like to bring your own delegation of 4-Her's, we can help you arrange that too! We only require that the group include 5 or more participants.

3. Transportation
   • Providing Your own Transportation
     • A new Washington DC law requires that all tour buses have a 6-day Washington DC Bus Permit: http://dmv.dc.gov/info/trippermit.shtm Your transportation company may already be aware of this.

5. Rooming Lists, Participant Health Form, Participant Code of Conduct Form, Participant Media Form and Final payments are due 30 days before arrival day to Jeunice Salita-Lim.

6. Capitol Hill Day—create a plan for your delegation’s Capitol Hill Day

     • If you would like your Program Assistant(s) to join, please purchase a ticket for them as well
8. Delegation Day—create a plan for your Delegation Day

9. Plan an Orientation Session for your CWF delegation (for orientation ideas, contact Molly Young, Director of Youth Opportunities at 301-961-2812 or MYoung@4HCenter.org

   • Brainstorm Issues that affect your community to be used in creating Action Plans that the delegates will implement upon returning home
